The mythical phoenix carries two paradoxical truths at once: the felt weight of darkness and turmoil, and the lightness of being open to change.

Sam Millard's Resilience and Rebirth captures exactly that moment of transition: the phoenix mid-ascent, still trailing the void from which it emerged, wings spanning the threshold between gravity and flight. Designer Jasen Robillard's puzzle interpretation holds both in tension — the Jungian shadow and the earned radiance, the fallen and the rising, the wound and the fire that heals it.
