Tyler Rock has distinguished himself as a leader within the field of Glass Art in Canada. He is faculty and the former program head of Glass at the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary Canada, and the former president of the Glass Art Association of Canada. Rock has been invited to lecture and demonstrate at a number of glass institutions and university programs internationally including: The Corning Museum of Glass in New York, Aichi University in Nagoya Japan, Sheridan College in Toronto, and Espace Verre in Montreal. In 2010 he was invited to feature in the Innovators + Ideas lecture series at the Harbourfront Centre. He has also instructed at the University of South Australia.
