Historic Earth Palette S

Stoneground’s Historic Palette was inspired by the colours used by artists long before the advent of synthetic pigments, back to a time when artists created their own paints. These pigments were traditionally mined from the earth, and are some of the most permanent, lightfast, and durable pigments available to artists today. This palette is a wonderful choice for artists who enjoy portrait work as these colours can be used to great effect for skin tones. Use this collection to add a vintage feel to any creative work, or use it for unique tonal studies, and to supplement other watercolour collections.

Our Historic Palette contains six half pans of our handmade watercolour paint in a hinged metal tin. Measuring approximately 2 1/2” x 2”, this compact size is ideal for travel and plein air painting.
