Siri McCormick is a fibre artist currently living and working in Calgary, Alberta. She has worked with textiles for most of her life, and decided to return to school to expand her knowledge and add to her hand work repertoire, graduating with a BFA (fibre major) from the Alberta College of Art + Design (now Alberta University of the Arts) in 2007.
Siri will often use combinations of materials and techniques to produce work that contains elements of both the familiar and the unexpected. Her work is inspired by the patterns seen in the world that surrounds us.
