My journey into quilting began 40 years ago when I wanted to make a quilt for my young daughter. After working with traditional techniques for years, I began experimenting with curved strip piecing and developed my first landscape technique incorporating my design with traditional quilting blocks. This led to my first solo exhibition at the MB Crafts Council Gallery in 1995.

I work in a free-form style, designing as I go. Sometimes I use photos for inspiration, but I usually let my palette dictate the composition. I have an extensive portfolio of shows and awards for my work and am featured in Canadian galleries and private collections.
