Having my hands deep in sheep’s fleece then cleaning, dyeing, carding and spinning  it into beautiful yarns became a passion a decade ago. Today, I’ve expanded that process by weaving the yarn and fleece into textured and rustic textiles.

This collection of hand woven textiles is a reflection of a daily relationship I have with my  surroundings. From my studio I notice every small shift in the light and colours of the landscape that the changing seasons and weather provides. I am constantly inspired to explore these changes through my weaving.

I work with all natural fibres and I create my weavings on a 36” Japanese Saori loom.  The Saori philosophy is based on weaving yourself, and recognizing the differences between man and machine made products.  I do not strive for a perfect handwoven piece, but instead allow my intuition to weave something that is “perfectly imperfect” and a true expression of my own creative spirit.
