Gillian is a ceramic artist whose work is deeply inspired by the ocean. A graduate of Alberta College of Art + Design (BFA, Ceramics with Distinction, 2012) and the University of Calgary (BEd, 2014), she brings both artistic mastery and a passion for education to her craft. Based in Calgary, she serves as the Ceramics Technician at Wildflower Arts Centre, where she helps foster creativity in the community. Though surrounded by the prairies, Gillian’s heart is drawn to the sea—her ceramics reflect the intricate beauty of coral reefs and tide pools, infused with the striking blues and greens of Grassi Lakes in Canmore.
