Kings want to use our power to wage war and gods want us dead. Kellin Kane-a knight and the bastard of a princess- has spent most of his life fighting for the Order, an oppressive military organization that uses its disguise as a church to hide its true intentions. Upon receiving a vision of the truth from a mysterious spirit, Kellin sets out to end a wicked scheme and save those who will face death otherwise and seeks revenge on the ones who have ruined his life. With the help of a sailor from another kingdom, he looks to end this plan but quickly realizes that eradicating evil will not be as easy as it first seemed.
