Bayot Heer was born in the Swiss Alps near the 1,300 year-old city of Lucerne. After studying furniture-making and architectural design in Switzerland, Bayot came to Canada over 30 years ago.
Bayot’s jewelry is characterized by clean lines, unexpected shapes, textures and colours. Each piece is individually designed and hand crafted from the finest gemstones and precious metals to be one-of-a-kind.
Bayot’s home and studio used to overlook Canada’s Rocky Mountains — the inspiration for many of his designs and a dazzling personal reminder of his Swiss alpine roots; now he resides in Cochrane, Alberta.
He is the recipient of numerous awards for his jewelry.
