Veronica grew up in Northern Manitoba and was deeply influenced by the Cree culture in which she was immersed. A move with her family to Alberta when she was young created in her a yearning for the boreal forest of the north, the endless and abundant clean water, and the aurora borealis. Her vibrant acrylic paintings help fill her longing for the north. Each piece is a representation of and a physical vessel for Veronica, filled with the images, colours and symbols of her memory.
Veronica has exhibited extensively throughout Western Canada and is an active member of the Canadian Federation of Artists.
