Sculpting rabbits is both challenging and rewarding and is why I have chosen them as a subject in which to hone my sculpting skills. I attempt to capture the rabbit’s form, structure, energy, balance, and movement in harmonious unity, which makes for dynamic work. This sculpture captures the rabbit in a moment when it is about to change direction as if it is running to escape and elude a fast-approaching predator.
