Combining the brilliant silhouettes and formations found in the landscapes of the Alberta Rockies with the raw tradition of blacksmithing, James proudly presents work that combines an old world specialty with the contemporary.
Finding his direction the unconventional way, commercial success has led James to produce commissioned work and has perfected and evolved his passion. James’ approach to steel work and design fuses industrial beauty with contemporary design. With work on public display in galleries like the renowned Glenbow Museum, his confident and majestic masterpieces have been enjoyed throughout Alberta while earning acclaim as far as Japan and Germany.
