Dale Kirschenman

Dale Kirschenman is a Calgary-based Canadian artist known for landscape paintings inspired by the vastness of the Western Canadian prairie and foothills landscape. Growing up near Medicine Hat, Alberta, Dale developed a deep connection to the prairie, mountains, and open skies that so clearly influence his work. His paintings draw on images and experiences gathered through hiking, cycling, skiing and exploring the outdoors, with a particular fascination for the study of light and atmosphere. His work is held in the collections of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts and the City of Calgary, as well as private and corporate collections in Canada and internationally.
