Words are torn from The Chefs-d'oeuvre d'art of the Paris Universal Exhibition 1878, published by Gebbie & Barrie, Philadelphia.

The text (best described as a mixture of gossip, innuendo and intrigue) is abused by weaving more of the same in plain weave to express the dismay of the 'artist' at every attempt to describe/explain/interpret a visual experience (the practice of which he heartily dislikes.)
