The colour room.

I float through a doorway to the colour room. Pigment bubbles up from the dirt saturating the old hardwood. I hover, deeply inhaling hue puddles flooding my senses with light. Bending, warm, rich, vivid, swirling shimmering light.

And I exhale life’s breath.

And begin a painting.
