Michelle Wiebe in the gallery Saturday/Sunday June 23/24

Cochrane artist, Michelle Wiebe, will be in the gallery demonstrating the art of letterpress printing. Using a tabletop Kelsey 6” x 10” platen printing press, she will explain the process of transforming hand cut linoblocks and vintage lead typeface into contemporary works of art. She will also have on hand a fresh selection of hand pulled cards, pictures and other paper ephemera.
