Mady Thiel-Kopstein's interest in science, experience as a pilot, and love of exploring the wilderness inform all of her artwork. 'The things I see and then how I interpret them is mostly instinctual,' she says. 'My practice is forever evolving and eclectic. I never tire of exploring. My inspirations come from the outdoor adventures I pursue with friends.'
